How to Create Personalized Email Address on Your Domain Name
October 9, 2009 | Internet, Personal
If you want to get a personalized domain email address just like this: address@domain.com, you can configure it on your hosting account or you can use the free service of Google Apps.
- To do this, visit Google Apps Home Page, select Administrator option and enter your domain name.
- Click Get Started. You will be brought to the next page where you can enter your personal details.
- Next, you need to create a user name for your domain. Enter username and password.
- After entering your information, you will be given two options on how to verify your domain ownership. I preferred to upload an HTML file using FTP.
- On the next page, you will be given instructions on what to upload to your server. After you have uploaded the HTML file, click I’ve Completed the Steps Above.
After you have done this, you can now log in to your email account on www.google.com/a/domain.com using your username and password. But you need to activate your email in order to use it. To receive and send email in you Google Apps account, you need to change the MX records in your DNS server. To do that, visit their Setup MX instruction page.

Hi Joven,
That’s absolutely right! I have actually included this tutorial in my outsourcing program as well regarding Google Apps. Glad I’ve gone through your personal blog and it seems that you’ll have more opportunities to face in the Internet industry.
Good luck to you kid!
Thank you Tyrone… I have visited your website and it looks like you are helping others how to outsource their work. That is good… Are you outsourcing your work here in the Philippines?
